Contacts

Pearl will allow you to import your database of contacts from a spreadsheet. Explore the functionality of the demo version to find out what information you will be able to transfer automatically, including importing custom fields. For extra requirements, please do get in touch with us since we can usually do a custom import into your database from a suitably formatted Excel or CSV file.

Products

Import your current product database using a suitably formatted spreadsheet. Images cannot be imported through the admin interface, but we are able to bulk upload images using a suitably formatted and named directory structure on a CD supplied by yourself.

Sales

Currently you cannot import your sales history directly into Pearl.

Accounts information

Currently you cannot import your accounts history into Pearl. You will need to decide on a date before which you will use your current system, and after which you will use the Pearl system for accounting. Create a closing trial balance from your current accounting system and enter this into Pearl as the opening trial balance.

OSCommerce, X-Cart, Zen Cart and other e-commerce shop owners

Pearl is designed for seamless upgrade from OSCommerce, Joomla, EKM Powershop, X-Cart, Zen Cart, CRE Loaded and a number of other similar shopping cart systems. Talk to our transition team to see how easy it is to upgrade your webshop to Pearl.

Sage users

Switching to Pearl is easy - if you are familiar with Sage then you'll also be fine with Pearl. Just prepare a closing set of accounts from your Sage package, decide a date to start using Pearl and go from there. Ensure that you have built your Pearl system before the transition date so that you start on the right track. Talk to any of our sales team for advice on contact, product and chart of accounts implementation in Pearl. You can of course run the two systems in parallel for the first few weeks if you feel the need.
